The representative of the Holy Father in Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe has expressed his desire to serve the Church and the people of God in both nations.
Addressing members of the members of the Bishops' Conference of Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe (CEAST) following his arrival in Luanda on Tuesday, October 1, Archbishop Kryspin Witold Dubiel expressed his happiness to be in a country filled with young people and “big smiles.”
“I am here to serve the Church, the Church that is the presence of Christ in the world,” Archbishop Dubiel said.
He added, “I am also happy because everything I’ve read, the various articles on the internet, made me realize that this is a country of very young people, of people with big smiles.”
“A smile is a window into how good our God is, who has given us so many good things,” the Polish Diplomat said.
