He entered the Holy See diplomatic service in 2001. Since then he has served in the Pontifical Representations in Belarus, Croatia and India as well as the Vatican’s Section for Relations with States in the Secretariat of State.
From 2018 until his May 3 appointment as Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, he was assigned as First Counsellor in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The Prelate speaks his native language Polish, Italian, French, English, Croatian, Russian and Spanish.
The announcement made simultaneously at the Vatican and at the National Catholic Secretariat in Accra by Fr. Lazarus Anondee, the appointment has attracted online reactions from Ghanaians on social media
“I anticipate that the new Nuncio to Ghana will touch base with the grassroots, that's the lay people, institutions and other relevant bodies for fair and balance opinion and ideas on the happenings in the Catholic Church in Ghana,” commented Korshie Mawuelikplim, a youth of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese, on his Facebook page.
Alex Dogba commented, “I pray he will focus on building the local Church and faith. Make his presence felt and guide the Bishop Conference from its political stances on some issues,”
