Bishop Maurício Agostinho Camuto of Caxito Diocese in Angola has encouraged young people in his Episcopal See to “keep the faith” despite the numerous challenges they face.
In his November 5 homily during Holy Mass at the Good Shepherd Kikolo Parish of Caxito Diocese, Bishop Camuto also encouraged young people to be creative in order to deal with the difficulties that exist in the southern African country.
“Our concern today for young people is great, because we know the various difficulties that young people face. So it's not easy to remain faithful to your faith, faithful as a disciple of Christ,” the Angolan Catholic Bishop said.
He added, “To remain faithful as a disciple of Christ is not easy, but we encourage young people to always keep the faith, to know above all to look to Christ, who is our hope, He is the one who comforts us, the one who encourages us, to face the difficulties of life and always know how to move forward.”
The Angolan member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit under the protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CSSp.), also known as the Spiritans or Holy Ghost Fathers underlined the value of entrepreneurship in fighting unemployment.
