The story of the death of the Catholic Nun who was beatified in Kenya on November 5 should inspire Kenyans to give themselves in the service of the Lord and receive well, in their midst, those involved in the mission of evangelization, members of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) have said.

The planned beatification of an Italian-born Catholic Nun described as “the venerable who gave her life in Kenya” due to her dedicated service in Kenya’s Meru Diocese for two decades is expected to “spur growth of vocations”, a member of the Clergy of the Kenyan Catholic Diocese involved in the preparations for the beatification has told ACI Africa.
