As politicians in Kenya continue with regional rallies to popularize the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), a document with recommendations on ending post-election conflicts in Kenya, religious leaders in the East African nation have raised concerns over the divisive discourse that the initiative seems to be taking and recommended an end to the rallies, concerns shared by the Chairman of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB).

Bishops in Kenya Want “a dialogue process” for Building Bridges Initiative (BBI)

Three weeks after the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report, a document containing recommendations on ways of ending tribal animosity and embracing unity in Kenya, Catholic Bishops in the East African nation, under their umbrella body of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) have expressed the need for dialogue in view of building consensus around the proposals in the 156-page report.
