The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe has appealed for support for seminaries in Malawi, citing rising costs that he says have impacted the Church’s ability to provide for the formation of future Priests in the Southern African country.
The representative of the Holy Father in Malawi has called upon the newly Consecrated Bishop in the Southern African nation to ground his Episcopal Ministry in the Beatitudes, being close to “those who suffer” in his life of service.
