In the aftermath of the fire that gutted a church in Cameroon, Bishop Aloysius Fondong of the Diocese of Mamfé entered the ruins to retrieve the Blessed Sacrament and found the sacred Hosts and the ciborium containing them to be intact.

Parish Priest Confirms Theft of Tabernacle, Blessed Sacrament from Church in Zambia

The Parish Priest of St. John the Evangelist Kamfinsa, Kitwe of Zambia’s Ndola Diocese has, in an interview with ACI Africa, confirmed the theft of the tabernacle and the Blessed Sacrament at the Parish church.
