Church 2025 Jubilee Year in Mauritius: “Journey in hope” Guided by Island’s “Apostle”, Spiritan Missionary Blessed Laval

Blessed Jacques-Désiré Laval, the French-born member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost Fathers/Spiritans/CSSp.), whose commitment to the evangelization mission in Mauritius earned him the name “Apostle of Mauritius” is to inspire the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year in the Indian Ocean Island nation.
