Togo’s Lomé Catholic Archdiocese Gets Apostolic Administrator Days after Passing on of Local Ordinary

Days after the passing on of Archbishop Yves-Nicodème Anani Barrigah-Benissan of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lomé in Togo, the Apostolic Nunciature in the West African nation has announced the appointment of Bishop Isaac Jogues Agbémenya Kodjo Gaglo of the country’s Aného Diocese as the Apostolic Administrator of the Metropolitan See.

Archbishop Yves-Nicodème Anani Barrigah-Benissan, the Local Ordinary of Lomé Catholic Archdiocese in Togo known for his passion for music and arts has passed on at a hospital in the country's capital city, Lomé. He was aged 61.
