The Catholic Bishop of Kakamega Diocese in Kenya has urged the newly professed members of Sisters of Mary of Kakamega (SMK) to live their vocation as people modeled after Christ’s heart.
The devolved structure of the Kenyan government enshrined in the 2010 Constitution that established two levels of government has been characterized with corruption, a Kenyan Catholic Bishop has lamented.
Vocation to Religious Life is a fruit of God’s grace and is therefore not a possession of an individual person but “belongs to God”, Bishop Mark Kadima said during the profession of 11 members of the Congregation of Sisters of Mary of Kakamega (SMK).
